The ICA Regional Conference, 2024 at FCCU welcomes all attendees and their family members to an exciting and memorable event.
FCCU has prepared special areas for our attendees to attend to their specific needs. You are welcome to visit these areas in case of your specific need.
All support spaces are open during conference hours.
The Security Office provides security across all of the University’s campus areas. We are the first point of contact, providing advice, liaison and assistance. All buildings, including residences, are checked on a daily basis by security personnel on patrols and the campus exterior is also patrolled on foot and with security vehicles.
Security officers are on duty 7 days a week, 24 hours a day ensuring that the FCCU community is provided a safe campus. The Security Office maintains a good working relationship with local law and enforcement, who are responsible for investigating crimes and criminal activities on campus.
Mercy Health Center is an on-campus facility focused on promoting wellness and providing medical care for our campus community. The medical team includes a full-time doctor as well as several fully certified nurses. The Health Center has on-going relationships with several nearby hospitals and medical laboratories for cases that require specialized attention. Mercy Health Center provides the following services:
There is no charge for current students, employees, or campus residents to use the facility, however, a valid ID card must be presented.
FCCU also offers a Daycare Center facility, funded by the Women Development Program Fund, for children of employees from 3 months to 3 years of age. The Center provides caring and well-trained staff and hours of fun and educational activities in a child-oriented environment. The staff implement daily activities planned in the areas of:
Each room is equipped with age appropriate materials that stimulate the interest of the children and natural desire to discover. Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit whenever possible to take the opportunity to see the established policies in action and reassure themselves that their child is happy in a safe and caring environment. The FCCU Daycare Center meets the guidelines given by the WDP fund as well as US standards for staff-child ratios, health requirements and safety standards.
